# Models and offers

## List models

`GET /v1/models` returns every model at least one connected node serves.

```json
{ "object": "list", "data": [
  { "id": "mock/echo-1", "object": "model", "owned_by": "podtorrent" }
] }
```

Model ids are whatever operators' engines call them, so use them exactly as listed. A model disappears from the list when no node serving it is online.

## Network offers

`GET /v1/network/offers` shows what's available per model and tier, so you can compare prices and capacity.

```json
{ "object": "list", "data": [
  { "model": "mock/echo-1", "tier": "batch", "nodes": 2, "slots": 8, "free_slots": 6,
    "price_per_mtok_out": { "min": 0.2, "median": 0.2, "max": 0.4 },
    "cached_prompts": ["9c1e…"] }
] }
```

| Field                 | Meaning                                                                     |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `nodes` | Connected nodes serving this model at this tier |
| `slots`, `free_slots` | Total and currently free request slots across those nodes |
| `price_per_mtok_out` | Output price range in USD per million tokens; `null` if no node set a price |
| `cached_prompts`      | Ids of [cached prompts](/using-the-api/cached-prompts.md) nodes advertise   |

Both endpoints need an API key.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.podtorrent.com/using-the-api/models-and-offers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
